Left Ventricular Hypertrophy (LVH)
Wall of the left ventricle is thicker than normal, the impulse take longer
to traverse it. Voltage of QRS complex will increase, producing deeper S and
taller R.
Right Ventricular Hypertrophy (RVH)
Normally the electrical forces of the thicker ventricle
dominate those of the right ventricle. In RVH the right ventricle dominates and
there is right axis deviation. A tall R wave appear in V1
and deep S wave in V6.
